- 3 C Balsamic vinegar
- ½ C brown sugar
- ½ C white sugar
- Pinch of kosher salt flakes
- Mix together the sugar and Balsamic vinegar and salt in a stainless steel saucepan. Bring the mixture up to the boiling point then reduce the heat under the pot so it is just simmering.
- Stir occasionally until the mixture has reduced to about 1 cup. Keep a close eye on the glaze when it is close to being done as it thickens and is more likely to scorch. This process will take 20 – 25 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Store in the fridge.
