    Scalloped Potatoes

    What could possibly make scalloped potatoes better? Adding a second type of cheese. Our creamy scalloped potatoes are a great side of any meal. Ideal for colder months when you need a little comfort food. Plus, if you leave holes in the foil when you bake it on the grill you will get a nice smokey flavor.
    1. Preheat grill to 325 degrees

    2. Melt butter over medium heat

    3. Add onions and cook for 3 min or until they start to brown

    4. Mix in flour slowly

    5. Add milk and spices, whisk to ensure there are no clumps

    6. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until thick

    7. While mixture thickens layer ½ of the potatoes in a 9in x 13in x 3in pan

    8. After the mixture is thick pour half the mixture over the potatoes and add half of each cheese

    9. Repeat with remaining ingredients

    10. Bake covered on the grill for 1 hour. Tip: for extra smoke flavor poke holes in the foil

    11. Remove foil and bake of an additional 15 minutes

    6 large potatoes, cleaned and sliced
    1 cup milk
    2 T butter
    ¾ cup parmesan cheese
    ¾ cup cheddar cheese
    ½ diced onion
    ½ t each mustard, paprika, salt, black pepper
    ½ cup flour
